Start and finish in the heart of Southampton’s City Centre with the course passing iconic local landmarks including Bargate, Itchen Bridge and St. Mary’s Stadium. The route is a mix of coast, city and parks.The route is mainly on road and is a mixture of flat with a few hills along the way.
Classic Kladno Marathon 42 195 m – race start at polytan track and field stadium, next 8 loops (5 Km each) on semi hardsurface, mostly shaded in park forest Lapák and back to finish line at stadium. Time limit is 6 hours.
The route starts and finishes on the beach but most of the running is along a very scenic single track coastal road. The views out to sea are stunning. There’s no big hills, slightly undulating at most. It’s a great course, very enjoyable, the miles will fly by!
