EDP Lisbon Half Marathon

The EDP Lisbon Half Marathon is the most popular race in Portugal, gathering every year over 35.000 runners from all over the world. It is also a part of the new international running series, the Super HalfsWith a course along the river shore and a starting at the 25 de Abril bridge, EDP Lisbon Half Marathon joins participants from all ages, backgrounds and running experience, becoming one of the most popular running events in Europe.
Course Highlights
Tolls’ Square of the Bridge 25th April – Alcântara – Rua de Cascais (Pingo Doce) – Avenida 24 de Julho – Praça do Comércio. Once arrived at Campo das Cebolas (Largo do Terreiro do Trigo), the athletes turn in the opposite direction of traffic – through Praça do Comércio and Avenida 24 de Julho, towards Alcântara – Avenida da Índia (passing by the Jeronimos Monastery, towards Algés) and continue through Avenida Marginal (Avenida Ivens) almost up to Dafundo, where they return in the opposite direction of traffic, through the same arteries, up to Jerónimos, where the finish line is installed.
