Sibenik 10K Race

Šibenik is one of the fastest growing Croatian cities in the current decade. The city has raised one of our greatest athletes, Dražen Petrović, in an excellent position and with a great history. Celebrating his birthday in late October, we remember his greatness and his work ethic and approach to sports. The Šibenik race starts on the Šibenik waterfront, on Pavle Šubić Square, and passes by the legendary Baldekin and Dražen’s monument.Šibenik’s ten runs in two laps of five kilometers, while Dražen’s four is a 4km race – remembering the number 4 that Dražen wore in Šibenik and the national team. This year, as part of the Šibenik Ten, the official Croatian 10k Road Running Championship was held – individually and as a team, and all the best Croatian athletes participated.
The now legendary race on the Šibenik waterfront in honor of the legend Dražen Petrović, starts on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 am in its 5th edition. As in previous years, everything takes place on the waterfront, on Pavle Šubić Square, and the trail is the same as last year – all the time running along the sea. At 10km two laps of 5km each, and at fours one lap of 4km. As the works near Poljana are still in progress, we are not going around Baldekin like the first three times, but Dražen will be on every T-shirt again, this time in a New Jersey Nets jersey!
