Event Details:This scenic 5K run/walk circles the lake at Heritage Park and passes through a scenic wooded area en route to the start/finish area at Shelter #1. Almost 1/3 of the course can be seen from the start/finish area. An all-you-care-to-eat Chris Cakes pancake breakfast is included for all registered participants. The pancake breakfast will be provided at Shelter #1. Awards for the top male and female finisher and top 3 male and female age group finishers. Proceeds from this event will help fund safety training for social workers and other community health workers.

KIDS DASH
A free Kids Dash will be held at 8:40 am. There is a playground at shelter #1 for kids and spectators to enjoy during the event.
PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pickup is at Garry Gribble's Running Sports, 11908 W 119th St., Overland Park, KS, Friday, June 14, 2013, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Race Day packet pickup at the Heritage Park Marina/Shelter #1 area 6:10 - 7:10 am, Saturday, June 15, 2013.
Pets, bikes, rollerblades and motorized vehicles are NOT permitted on the course. NOTE: Baby strollers are only allowed in the walking event. The Race Director reserves the right to cancel the event due to severe weather. No refunds.
