Event Summary:
The 811 Run started last year and is quickly gaining speed across the nation. This will be the second annual 811 Run in Kansas in Shawnee Mission Park starting at the Theater in the Park. Sign up today! 811 is a federally-mandated national “Call Before You Dig” number, created to help protect individuals from hitting underground utility lines while digging. Whether you are a homeowner or professional excavator, calling 811 before you dig gets your utility lines marked for FREE.

Please join us for a beautiful 5K run/walk followed by a safety day event full of give-a-ways and educational materials to help spread the Call Before You Dig message.

Registration is only $8.11 per person.

You can pick up your registration packet the day of the event beginning an hour before the race starts. There will be a table set up near the start/finish line to pick up your registration and bib for the race. Shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants that sign up prior to the week before the race. This race will be professionally timed by Race Day Timing Solutions. Medals will be given for first, second, and third place for the following age groups: 19& under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Only the first 400 registrants will be allowed to race due to the limited size of the facility. There will be a monetary prize of $200 for overall first place, $100 for overall second place, men and women. 

Registration/packet pick-up will be on race morning at the Theatre in the Park parking lot near the start/finish.
